The Punjab Criminal Prosecution Service Inspectorate undertakes regular, surprise and thematic inspections of Criminal Prosecution Service and shares observational and recommendatory outcome with the Government for bringing qualitative improvement in prosecutorial service delivery. The work of the inspectorate is sub divided into systematic collection and analysis of information, random sampling of case files and monitoring of key performance indicators. The Inspectorate particularly focuses on case management, observance of fair trial procedures and prosecutorial standards in line with international best practices.
